Allied health professionals (AHPs) are a diverse group of staff who deliver high quality care to patients, carrying out assessment, treatment and discharge.

You could help treat a broken toe or assess and make recommendations for someone’s diet. You could use music or art to help a patient’s recovery, or you could work with children to improve their spoken skills. The allied health professions (AHPs) include everything from podiatrist, dietitian, and music therapist, to physiotherapist, diagnostic radiographer, therapeutic radiographer, and speech and language therapist.
